Setting up for RRF3

Just started to retrofit my configurations for RRF3 on my Wifi 1.03 board, and straight up i find some stuff a little unclear.
When setting up for my BLTouch using exp.31 for PWM signal, do i first have to do "M950 H7 C"nil" to disable the heater, then "M950 P7 C"exp.31" to assign it as GPIO pin7 with PWM range?Or is that exp.31 unasigned by default and making "M950 H7 C"nil" unecessary?

Ok, that's one thing sorted. Next question is regarding Z endstop. Should it just be "M574 Z1 S2", "M574 Z1 S2 P"zprobe.in"" or something totally different?

Neither, if you are using a Z probe to home Z then you don't use a Z endstop (unless you also want a Z max endstop for any reason). You can free up the zstop input if you like using M574 Z0 P"nil".
