Connecting to the WiFi

Connecting.
**Hey the router sees the duet WiFi . and I have run Reprap config. in auto and with a set IP, and I can code on yat to the motherboard. but it wont connect to the router. I have worked with it many times and I think there is just something wrong with it. I would like to get the one with ethernet plug. so if I can get a replacement. I'll pay for the difference in cost. And if there is someone who my know how to get it working that's ok to Wayne

When you send M552 from YAT, does it report that it is connected to your access point and give you an IP address? If so, what happens when you enter that IP address into the address bar of your browser?

yes I can send code and I have put in the Ip address what I get. I think I did down load the drivers because I can text the motherboard. I realy do appreciate your help. Wayne

Try sending M552 S-1 then M552 S0 then you should get the "WiFi module is idle" message. Then send the M587 command to add the SSID and password again.

You will get more sensible output from YAT if you go to Text Settings and change the line ending to LF only.

@dc42 I really wont to thank you. it worked ! if your in NC. IOU a steak dinner. Wayne I got 4 printers and 1 more on the way. I am an industrial Machinist and I believe that this will be the future of what I do .
