Problem with 12V 40W Ceramic heater?
-
Hi guys!
This week I started having problems with the Duet and I do not know what they are due to.
I warm everything to start an impression: nozzle 205ºC and bed at 50ºC.
When it reaches the temperature I get the error: "Error: Heating fault on heater 1, temperature excursion exceeded 15.0°C"
Last time, shows this error: "Error: Heating fault on heater 1, temperature rising much more slowly than the expected 0.8°C/sec"
I changed the ceramic heater 3 times and it keeps coming out ... Any idea where the fault may be?At some point I also got the following error: Warning: VIN under-voltage event (9.5V)

Have you autotuned your heater yet?
if the VIN is 9.5V, it could be that your power supply is failing and that would mean your hotend does not produce the full 40W and cause it to rise too slowly -
Yes. I autotuned with "m303 h1 s220" command.
I go to autotuned now again to test.Would it be advisable to change the power supply?

You could first try to turn up the voltage by means of the voltage adjuster screw. All the way should be fine, then check again.
How many amps does your PS supply? Maybe it is not enough with both the heated bed and hot end -
The heater cartridge can also have burned out and looking significantly lower resistance then it should. If this is a recent issue have you tried replacing the heater?

@bpislife I has replaced the heater 3 times and the error its the same

The under voltage messages indicate a power problem. Check that the VIN terminal block screws are tight and the cables are good.
