COMBINED USED DUEX 5 AND HEATER EXTANSION

How many external stepper drivers do you need? With a DueX2 you can still use 3 on the external stepper breakout board.
How big are the motors you need to drive? The Duet can drive some Nema23 motors directly.

the printer is a 1,5 cubic m printer with nema 34 engines and i need 4 of them( double z one big on x and one for y ) ! in an other conversation i read that you told one guy to clean up the 0 ohm resistor on duex 5 to make it like the duex 2 ! my question is, wich resistor is it on the duex 5 and can i set all 5 out of function !
-
its a combined cnc mill printer setup, thats why i use nema 34.

You would also need to remove the 3 unused TMC2660 chips, otherwise they will interfere with the readings from the others.

Sounds like a job for Duet 3! We were driving Nema 34 motors from the prototype at the TCT show last year. But it's not in production yet.

i know that you do a good job on this site, maybe i will change the controlling system if its avalable!
wich part number is the resistor on the board and should i clean up the transistors too ?
does the firmware need the other two tmc chips ? -
can i send a 5v signal to the endstop pins on the 50 pin header ?
-
What you could do is use logic gates to split the step/dir signal and feed them into multiple seperate motor drivers. This would fix your need for drivers as well as open up some slots.
A guy on another thread did this but didn't really go into detail how Soni figured it out myself.
I'll do the same once I'm at the stage of wiring -

No, use a small signal diode in series with it, anode to the endstop input, cathode to your endstop device. Depending on your endstop device, it may need to be a Schottky diode.

thank you david for your perfect support i am a fan!!
