Fan Port 0 damaged. Any chance to repair?
-
I seem to have damaged PWM fan port 0 by short cutting it (small spark ).
After that a voltmeters shows 9V instead of 12V when setting port to 255, but the fan is not running at all.Fortunately all other ports work fine. So I remapped the parts cooling fan to port 2 and the printer is running again.
Question: Is there any possibility to repair pwm port 0?

I might not be the first one ...You are certainly not the first one! Damaged fan mosfets cause by fan shorts are the most common way for users to damage a Duet. The 1A fuse we added in later revisions protects the PCB from damage, but the fuse isn't quick enough to protect the mosfets.
