Guide for automatic bed leveling?

I got my Duex set up and have each of the z stepper motors on their own driver. I tried following a guide included in the one of the BL Touch guides, but there wasn't much detail and I was running into some issues (It seemed like it wasn't probing at the coordinates I entered -- the last probe was trying toi go past the bed and crashed into the end of the X-rail) so wanted a more in dpeth guide. Any tips would be appreciated!

Maybe @dc42 can shed some light on this but I'll bet you have the X and Y offsets set in your G31 command. Whenever they were set, I always had the same issue as you where the one of the probe points caused a crash into one of the rails. I finally gave up and left them at X0 Y0.

@dc42 I had used a different guide that more or less said the same thing. I'll try going through it again tonight as I was abit rushed when doing it. Was just wondering if there was anything more in depth.
