Restarting after using M591 to pause for new filament
-
I am using a simple filament out switch going low when filament runs out with M591 D0 P1 C4 which pauses the printer when filament runs out.
How do you restart after adding new filament?

@flyingscot When the printer pauses you should be able to choose resume on the print page on DWC.

On long prints my laptop (DWC) disconnects. Just discovered it works when reconnected
The other thing that concerns me is the heaters stay on when the sensor is triggered, could this be a problem should the filament run out when you are away for a few hours.
Is there any way to turn the hot end off but leave the bed heat on until new filament is installed. -
I'm pretty sure that it just triggers pause.g so you could edit that macro file to deactivate the tool to go to standby temp and then you could manually heat up for the filament swap and then resume.g could be edited to reactivate the tool and go back to printing temp.

Actually I'm not really sure what gets run when m591 is used.

With the old way of setting up a trigger you could specify which trigger#.g file was run, but I can't see how to control what happens on trigger now with the new way. Maybe I'm missing something. But it's not clear what it actually does other than pauses and waits.
