Z hotbed drops like a rock
-
Ok here is my problem wehn I move the Z axis at like +10 -10 +100 -100 the hotbed will bind and one side will move more than the other.
I thought it was maybe the alignment of the hotbed 12 mm rods. so I took the z screws out and the hotbed drops like a rock. No binding at all
moves smoothly. So I put back on the screws and used on top to bearing holders. Made things worse now the screws are not perfectly straight
but if I use lower speeds it never binds.Could it be the motors or the rods I now have set max z speed to 120 so I'm sure it will not bind.
Thia also caused a misalignment of z every time I printed and I woukld have to realign the z_axis evertime I started a new print. My prints are not that bad (seeing its my first time) my squares are pretty nice.
My Benchy improved between the first try and adding the fan the second time, but maybe its the Z axis problem that still gives problems.
Thanks for any help.

Perhaps you need to reduce the maximum speed (M203) and/or maximum acceleration (M201) of the Z axis.

I did but not knowing what a good balance would be would you be so kind to give me an idea?
Also the second Benchy has problems on the layers could that be the z aixis?I'm still looking for a setup so I can use a nema 17 motor with an extruder to pull the filament from the spool.
Can this be done?thanks
