Duet 2 Wifi and com ports

I was told that it is possible to connect additional steppers to the Duet 2 Wifi via com1 or com2, but I cannot identify such ports.
What am I missing?

OK I will check that - thanks.
Reason being the unproportional price of (antiquarian?) Duex extensions, which are parts of an outdated Duet 2 platform and as such not really worth an investment.By the way, is there a private market for useless parts waiting in drawers to be disposed? I suspect lots of Duex extension boards there.

I reviewed that documentation and wish to thank you again. Indeed it must be CONN_LCD.Now I am a bit overwhelmed. I need some advice about which stepper drivers are compatible with ports 10 and 11 of the CONN_LCD connector, that would be able to drive stepper motors the same way as built-in drivers.
I hope that I can still find appropriate electronic parts.

What exactly do you mean by this?
The CONN_LCD ports are able to to connect to drivers that take a step and direction signal. If you want drivers that let you set current, etc, those ports won't work.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Maybe if we start there we can give better advice.

My build bed is leveled by two steppers and I want to use three independent axes. The 3rd stepper should behave the same way as the other two, synchronously. I never needed to change voltage or current or substeps or anything else.I am not familiar with stepper drivers and hope to get this done to avoid manual adjustment along the Y axis (the two steppers used now hold the bed on the left and right side, so the X axis is leveled automatically).
All regular stepper connections on the Duet 2 are already in use, so I would use one of the two available on the CONN_LCD ports.
Still learning...

So no Infos about suitable stepper driver to be connected via CONN_LCD?

@Triet you can connect a wide range of drivers to a Duet 2, but most need some level shifting to 5V as described in the documentation. Probably best to say what motor you need to drive. Also are you already using a Duex5? if not then thats the most straightforward solution.

I would have to check the steppers I use now; they were just part of the kit, nothing special, NEMA 23 no brand, cheap but working well so far.You mentioned voltage compatibility. That is a keyword for me. I just need more keywords to filter out unsuitable drivers. In other words, since connecting a stepper driver to CONN_LCD is not the common case, I understood that I need drivers that use exactly the four designated pins on CONN_LCD. That seems to be a different class of drivers - is there a name for that class?
In other words, how can I identify the drivers I need? As soon as I know what to look for, I would engage in searching what is available, cheap and suitable. I only need a tiny push from you.

@Triet the CONN_LCD headers are being repurposed to provide additional driver outputs, for when a Duet 2 and Duex5 type setup is not enough. There are no drivers that plug directly into them, but any driver that accepts step/direction/enable should work, however many will require the signals from the duet to be level shifted to an appropriate level.
As you are not using a Duex5 i recommend you use one of those if the motors you have already work with the Duet 2 drivers (i.e. running at less than 2.4A)
