Time scale under temperature chart?
-
could we get a timescale added under the temperature chart in DWC?
-
I've also wanted this for some time.

+1 for this request.

Actually I played with this a bit before but I found it too ugly to add to the official versions. What units would you like to see there? I can take a screenshot if you want and demonstrate what it would look like.

Can't work on a screenshot at the moment but something in the shape of a grid. On the vertical axis the temperature, already there; on the horizontal time from 0 to X seconds (maybe zoomable). I would not work with absolute time stamps but just 0s 1s 2s .... 10s for example.
Maybe an oscilloscope screen is a good source for inspiration, with temperature instead of voltage of course.

One of the features I miss the most from Octoprint is the interactive temperature graph plugin. It allowed for scrolling the graph back to see the history as well as zooming in on a portion of the graph. It also allowed you to send the graph data to a statistical spreadsheet view where you could do other work on it with a single click.

I'm not sure if something like that could be worked into the DWC.

Similar to what @Phaedrux said, I would already be very happy if the graph would provide a Octoprint-like mouse-over that shows the temperature at that position in the graph.

I'd also like to second this request, or at least a setting to define how long the timescale for the graph is. I have long heat up times for one of my applications (a compression mould), and it would be pretty handy for that to be able to see the actual timeframe of my tool heating up and cooling down, rather than a slightly diagonal line.
