IP with API Key

Hello i use the Cura 3.0.3 with the OctoPrint and now i have by two Duet wifi and i like to do the same on the Duet board, printing direct to the IP but on Cura 3D we need to put API key like Octoprint can you do this on the Duet Wifi?

Hi, a plugin or other extension would need to be written for cura to upload the file to the Duet and start the print.
Similar to this one:
https://github.com/fieldOfView/OctoPrintPluginBut for RepRapFirmware.
I have moved this thread to the Firmware request part of the forum, although really its a request for third party software.

I just looked at the current slic3r 1.3.0-dev (2017-10-20). If you set the Print server upload option to 'Duer' the API-field is disabled. You just need to input your Duet's IP or hostname and it will work when clicking on 'send to printer'.

oh that cool, I am not up to speed with newer slicer builds.

Printing, simulating, and uploading directly from Cura to your Duet printer - enjoy!

Thank you very much for the plugin, I will test it when I am back tomorrow evening…
Fortunately with cura 3.0.3 and latest update from autodesk fusion directly sending a print from fusion360 to cura now works again.
This means that with your plugin I can go from fusion360 via Cura directly to the printer, without actively creating a temporary file on my computer..... Nice!

Very good i am going to test thanks.

For some reason it's not loading the extension for me. Copied files to
C:\Users\Lee\AppData\Local\cura\plugins\Cura-DuetRRFPlugin

This is great. I've gotten so used to doing this with Octoprint. Nice work.
