Future development for the smart effector?

Hi,

Is there still an active plan for a new Smart Effector?
If yes, would it be possible to share what would be main changes / improvements (CAN bus, accelerometer, dimension...)

I was looking at this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/19522/smart-effector-including-toolboard-capabilities which contains a lot a great stuff.

@fred-y we have some experimental further developments of the Smart Effector in progress and we are still plan to produce a CAN-connected design. The development work for that has been held up behind a queue of other projects, however that queue is now very short so I hope we can progress it soon.

I am really happy to have the confirmation this is moving forward, I am sure many of us are really impatient to have new features.

I think the CAN bus will be a great addition, I was thinking to rewire one of my delta to move all the electronic in the bottom with a toolboard as a relay on the top but I will just wait.
