Looking to run a second print cooling fan

I'm look to run a second print cooling fan with the effector. I know I will have to run an extra set of wires down, plan to use a locking connector to the fan. The only snag I have is I'm down one PWM fan output ATM.
Can I use one of the always on as a power source and one PWM as a trigger? not sure how to wire that but I remember reading it being done that way somewhere in the past.
Use the power from the always on, and negative from the PWM? and would have to worry about over loading the PWM output, or will it share the load with the always on? -
Why not just wire the second print cooling fan in parallel with the first one, at the hot end? No need to run more wires to the hot end.

As far as I'm aware you can use whatever you want as a power source within reason and ground the fan via the negative pwm fan output of your choice. But if you've killed one it's not usually the positive side that's dead it's the negative as that's were the mosfet is located. So if fan 2 is dead you cant use it to control anything regardless of where you source the power.
Wire the second fan in parallel with the current one?
The positive pins of all the fan outputs are essentially a bus which is connected to either the 5v rail or Vin determined by the fan jumper.

I know how to run that with batteries, but not sure on the fans. would I just put both wires for each in one crimp, or make solder points at one fan to the next?

Just tie both positives together, and both negatives, then attach as if you only had one fan.

Interested in how you are going to mount these. I plan on using two fans as well. A couple of 40mm blower fans. Hope there is room.
