Duet WiFi 1.01 VIN reading low
-
My duet WiFi 1.01 with duex5 0.10 board is reading 16.5v on the VIN on the web interface but 24v on my multimeter when everything is connected and running. Any clues what might me going on here?

@tomasro that probably means that something is shorting the +3.3v rail to the +5V rail.

@dc42 Exactly right. I was trying to use 5v for the end stops...guess I'll need to move those to the duex5 board. Thank you!

@tomasro the V1.01 Duet 2 it not designed to tolerate 5V on the endstop inputs. Later versions of Duet 2 can tolerate 5V on the STP pins of those inputs.
What endstops are you using that need 5V?

@dc42 it's not so much that they require 5v, it's that I'm running a corexy system and combining as many pins as possible so I can run all the wires from the carriage with 2x ethernet cables (except for the hotend heater), so I've commonized as many ground's and 5v's as possible.
