HELP! Duet 2 WiFi Configuration and DWC Upload???
-
Ok so i did that and got this
so if i connect via USB what program should I open? YAT, Arduino, Visual Studio Code?
-
YAT would be the correct way to interface over USB terminal.
-
So I'm trying to use YAT but I'm not getting anywhere. my COM Port isn't being detected. I'm lost when it comes to terminals

You've got the board connected via usb to the PC, right?
The USB cable must carry data, not just power.
When you plug it in, does the board light up the 5v LED?
Does windows detect a device has been connected?
Try different cables/usb ports
-
OK, I got it working and this was the output
-
Ok, so SD card and wifi appear to be working, at least at that moment.
But still no DWC?
What is in the /www/ folder on the SD card?
Is the config.g file still in the /sys/ folder?
-
Just out of curiosity I tried out a few IP Addresses, and somehow the IP was changed. I don't know how, but its working under a different IP now. But it is working.
yeah config.g and www are both on the card
-
Well if the IP address is DHCP from the router there is a chance it could change occasionally. The best thing to do would be to set up a IP reservation in the router config so that it doesn't change.
-
How do I do that?
-
That will depend entirely on your router.
-
ok I'll look into it
-
Thanks
-
If you can find a manual it would probably be found under "DHCP reservation".

So I'm testing some new filaments, and on the technical data sheet it says for the print bed to be at 140°c. I'm almost positive mine maxes out at 110, which means i need to upgrade. Do you have any suggestions.
I was thinking these (one generic, one brand)

What's your take on it?
Thanks,

Keenovo has a good reputation and I wouldn't bother with anything else.
There are lots of places to be cheap, but power supplies and heaters aren't one of them.

@Phaedrux
(I decided to reply to this thread so you'd remember me)Hey...It's been a while. After a very busy year I'm finally ready to install my Keenovo Heated bed upgrade. I think I got the wrong heated bed though. I have a 24v 350w Keenovo, and I have a 24v 350w power supply as well as an SSR. I was reading up on the stock heated bed for the Ender 5 and it's a 24v 350w bed as well (facepalm). I'm realizing now that I should have gotten a 110v 500w heated pad for higher temperatures for my bed plate where I would be pulling power from the Mains on my PSU rather than the 24 volts it supplies to the rest of the Duet. Am I correct in my thinking?
Thanks in advance for any guidance
