RRF 3.3beta2 Macro Parameters

First of all thanks for the addition of gcode variables and macro parameters in this beta. The possibilities started dancing around in my head straight away
I noticed when doing a quick test of the macro parameters that if the called macro is expecting a parameter and doesn't get one it errors out.
Is this just a consequence of it is not yet being possible to query a parameter name to check whether it exists?
