Homing issues on a Delta with Duet 2
-
Hi there!
I've recently joined the duet fanclub as an owner, and I really do like the adventure that this board has taken me on!
The patient is an FLSUN QQ-S Pro, and after getting the wiring done, work on the proper configuration has started, and of course, being a newbie, I've hit a roadblock I can't seem to get over...The basic problem is that when homing, the endstops don't stop the tower from pushing forward and tries to keep going. Here's the twist: according to
M119
, all the endstops are in their proper state and when I manually trigger each endstop andM119
again, the changes are reflected. According toM119
every endstop is in working order.I'm happy to post any and all config files if that helps!

Post your config.g and homedelta.g

Thank you for looking into this
The config came from the online configuration tool, delta parameters came from an "old" mks_robin config file for the QQ-S.
Only the Z-probe switch has been inverted through manual editing.

; Endstops M574 X1 Y1 Z1 S1 ; set active low and disabled endstops
This should be
M574 X2 Y2 Z2 S1
for high end endstops. If you're a new user to Duet and this is a new build, it might be a good time to jump to RRF v3.1.1 since you're getting a fresh config from the config tool anyway.
Updating the firmware is easy as uploading two zip files.
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.0/Duet2and3Firmware-3.0.zip
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.1.1/Duet2and3Firmware-3.1.1.zip
First upload the 3.0 zip file as is without extracting. Then after it updates, do the same for 3.1.1 zip file.
Then you can upload the config file set from the web tool for RRF3.

Well, I've upgraded to RRF 3, had a little issue with the
iap4e.bin
file, bot solved it... I'm now running RRF 3.1.1, but still the grinding is there on the endstops and my z-probe has stopped producing any results... it's locked toat min stop
... at least the endstops sayat max stop
when triggered manually...So, z-probe broke, and the towers still want to blow off...
I'm guessing that the z-probe pin now expects to be on the z-probe-in pin instead of e0_stp as in the RRF2...
@Veti Thanks, but I've got no idea what type of thermistor is in place... FLSUN has been making changes and documentation is scarce to say the least... at least it's a cartridge type instead of the original bare glass bead version...

Can you post your updated config.g and homedelta.g please

Nothing looks incorrect in your homing files so I don't see why the endstops aren't triggering correctly.
In the M558, P4 is no longer supported and P5 should be used instead.

And believe my, I'm just as baffled...
