Fan output to control relay
-
We are running a high temp bed heater for our printer so I used a fan output off the Duex5 board
"M106 P3 S1; Set fan 3 value for bed relay to on"
and it turns on
Will I be able to put
"M106 P3 S0" in the slicer end of print, to turn the relay off, or do I need to add something he else to the Config G?Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX5 Firmware Version: 2.05 (2019-12-13b1)
Thank You

That said do you need to use a fan output. If you use a heater output to control the relay (assuming your VIN voltages are compatible with the relay) then you get to have temperature control of the heated bed! If course if you upgrade to 3.1.1 and then map the fan pin to be a heater if you need to.
