Hi everyone, I am sorry for being unavailable for so long. Primarily this is because I've been designing a new machine which will be based on the Duet 3. That will allow me to replicate different operation modes and to replicate certain configurations and/or issues that have been very tricky to test.
As you may suspect I have prepared a new DWC version, which adopts David's new object model from RRF and likewise DSF has been improved, too. I'll release a new DSF version later this week which will also feature conditional G-code. Once these new versions are out, I'll be happy to provide support again.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience!
We are just very glad to hear that you are OK, and very glad to have you back!

No worries! I (and probably most others) understand that this is not your day job. Appreciate everything you're doing.
Looking forward to try the new release, when it's available.

Where is it then?

you can track the development on github while waiting for the packages to show up in the feed for apt.

@chrishamm Thanks a lot for the hard work. Installed DSF 1.3.0 and DWC 2.1.0 and RRF3.01-RC6. This issue with no output on the G32 command still persists, unfortunately.
-
@mvieleers Thanks for letting me know, I'll have a look.
-
@chrishamm Brilliant. Quick question, sorry to polute this topic, but were you able to implement conditional gcode in this version of dsf?
-
Just updated to 2.1.0. Think I have found an issue.
I cannot load my Height Map.
I have check the file is there and there are numbers in it but it tells me height map not available.Have rebooted my Maestro and it still is not displaying.
Regards,
Paul

@mvieleers I hope I can get conditional G-code working in DSF next week.
@PaulHew Load the heightmap and it should be automatically displayed. I'll add a file list next to the 3D viewer at some point to avoid confusion.

Have pressed the 'Reload height map' button and it will not load.
I will rename the current heightmap.csv and run another.

Cool!

@PaulHew I have the same issue. After I ran a G29, it displays correctly.
-
Re-ran Mesh Compensation and still will not display height map.
File is there

@chrishamm

@chrishamm
All fixed with 2.1.1 Thank you. -
Glad it's working now. The issue with G32 not showing any output should be fixed in DSF 1.3.1, too.

Great news. I'll have to stop printing face shields long enough to upgrade and test!

Yay!! I'm still new with 3 motor beds, and it really helps to see the output. Yay!!

I strongly recommend using a script to auto level until it's under a set value, with a Z home at the end. I've been doing that with one of my printers, and it's been awesome. The other day I had a bit of filament stuck right where my probe hits one spot, and so it couldn't level correctly. It failed to level under my set value, so I went to check and found the filament. Might have saved me a bed surface!

That is exactly what I do. And check the console output to see that it is converging.
Literally called "prepz.g"
