Well the bed is all the back at home so there's it's not there for the probe to touch.
well move the bed then.

Got everything working. Started a print the other day and I noticed that when it got the the upper layers it was printing in midair and not laying down filament.
I pulled the nozzle and it was clogged so I unclogged it and put it back on and now the heat is faulting out saying the heat is rising too slow. I switched the motor and heats from e0 to e1 and the heat is still faulting.

Would suggest something changed with respect to wiring or the thermal response in your hotend. Check the wiring and retune the heater.
-
The heat block was a tad bit loose so I removed the heater cartridge and thermistor to tighten it a little and put them back. I can't tighten it real tight cause the angle the wires end up at, they run into the cooling ducts.
The thermistor reads the temp correctly when plugged into e0 but read 2000c when plugged into e1.
-
and after re-tuning the heater the problem persist?
-
Auto tune keeps stopping saying the temp is rising too slow. Fans are off and I did M303 H1 P1 and it is still coming up real slow. Either it is coming up fine and the thermistor might be bad and not accurately reading the temp or the heater probe is bad. I switched the probe out earlier and put the stock one back in so I may put the other back in and try.
I have already ordered a new thermistor cartridge.
-
Put cartridge in that came with hot end and it heated fast until 80c then kinda fell on its face.
It's back in e0 now. If I put it in e1 do i still use H1?
-
Heater is in e1 and thermistor is in e1.
I changed the config to reflect this and the heater will not come on and the thermistor is showing 2000.
Heaters
M307 H0 B0 S1.00
M305 P0 T98801 B4185 R2200
M143 H0 S120
M305 P2 T1000000 B4725 C7.06e-8
M143 H2 S280 -
Plugged extruder into e1 and define is as a new tool using e1 gears and so far so good
-
Still hitting around 80c and slows way down.
New heater cartridge on the way.
-
Doing the same thing with new parts. I ordered some external mosfet boards and see if they work.
I ordered a skr 1.3 marlin board I was gonna use and it doesnt like me much.
-
what does
M307 H1
output? (or H2 if using E1)@humanxv2 said in Duet 2 maestro problems:

kinda ot but i think alex kenis recently posted a video suggesting there is a design flaw with the usb interface on those?

Yeah it stopped communicating with anything.
-
Still doesnt work. Running through external mosfets it falls on its face around 80c.
-
@humanxv2, there is absolutely no need to use external MOSFETs with the Maestro, except when driving a bed heater that draws an exceptionally high current.
What happens when the!temperature reaches 80C, and how long does it take to reach that temperature? Please post a copy of the temperature plot from Duet Web Control.

I managed to do an autotune and it worked fine then m500 to save which I didn't do before then set it to heat up and it heated up fine.
I've been installing a linear rail setup on my x axis so I have to wire everything back up and see.
When it was doing it it got to 80c in decent time but I guess it wasnt fast enough for the board and faulted. Hopefully everything is ok now since I really don't wanna resort to using a 22 dollar board.
