@dirtybirdnj As it's a drawing machine, see my config here for the Polargraph I built. It uses a servo to raise and lower the pen. Ignore the parts about the motors and kinematics, as mine is not a cartesian machine.
You can d a full firmware wipe and get the board to appear as a port in BOSSA in order to reflash the firmware (from a fresh download) and try YAT again.
@jay_s_uk Thanks, that's just what was needed. I had got caught up in the weeds of the wiki and never read the release notes for that release. I already had apparmor installed and configured, must have missed the 'apt install duetpimanagementplugin' bit.
This all looks to be working perfectly now, many thanks.
@dc42 This is in SBC mode, can I just upload these to the FW directory and send the update commands?
As you have already installed 3.5.0-rc3 from the package server, yes you can. However, to get the full fix you will need a DSF update too. We expect to release rc4 very soon.
@silverpoint In the meantime please share your config.g because I don't think DCS should fail to connect to RRF even if DSF cannot handle certain axis letters yet. You can email it to christian@duet3d.com as well if you don't want to make it public.
I may have fixed this already. I noticed in the log the SPI buffer warning. I increased the SPI buffer in raspbian to 8192 and now it seems to be working. But, my config must be totally broken in this version as I can't seem to power on my PSU anymore due to no PS_ON port defined. Off I go down the rabbit hole. š
