I use my printer also from far distance over VPN and my personal VPN Server is only via Ethernet connected to the switch.

But i try it later with my Desktop PC.

It sounds like it may be a browser issue, or an extension blocking something.

When trying to reach DWC can you try opening the developer console of the browser to see what errors may be showing?

It sounds like your browser might have needed a hard refresh? Or clear the cache.

If you're using the SBC and still have access to SSH I suggest you use these steps to roll back to the stable branch, which should get you the newly released 3.4 final firmware.

When using the SBC you should only use the apt get commands to move between versions. Uploading firmware and DWC files directly is not likely to give good results.

@ja I cannot confirm this with the latest version from GitHub. If the JSON file (for whatever reason) fails to be loaded, it is replaced with the stock settings + custom changes as soon as a change like the dark theme mode is made. In the dev tools -> network requests I can see /sys/dwc-settings.json being uploaded as soon as I change something on the settings page.

@phaedrux I will try to get everything up and running first (and make a backup of config.g on my mac) ;-). If this problem occurs again i will change the SD card and try again. If it happens again with the new SD card i will get in touch with you.

I'm very poorly versed in python. Perhaps due to my ignorance of all the subtleties of programs written in python, I was constantly deleting files I needed or writing dumb code.

It's funny you should mention fritzbox. There have been a few other users that have complained about issues with this router. Do you have a different router or access point you can test with?
