ok thank you so now im having a problem with my bltouch it seems to stutter when i probe the bed as if there is a voltage drop on the magnet in it or something so it gives me an error Error: Z probe readings not consistent
If you bought standard E3Dv6 hot ends, they will have been supplied with thermistors. If you have a multimeter, you can check this. Unplug the sensor from the Duet and measure the resistance. If it's a few ohms, it's a thermocouple (assuming the wires are not shorting to each other). if it's around 100 ohms, it's a PT100. If it's between 100K and 200K then it's a thermistor.
