"how-to" mesh.g for G29 SBC setup
As is understood G29 on an SBC setup needs a /sys/mesh.g because the command will be handled by the DWC .
I am using a SBC setup, therefore it would be great to understand how the mesh.g should be used.
I didnt found any doc's or infos.

RE: DWC 3.1.1: mesh will not be saved (SBC version)
@chrishamm i am using a piezo and i had never used deployprobe/retracprobe.
the mesh-grid size in this config is only for testing because of the described issue.

DWC 3.1.1: mesh will not be saved (SBC version)
Hi,
@chrishammafter updating to DWC/RRF 3.1.1 the height map will not be saved if you use the menu item from the DWC.
I have to enter G29 S3 in the console in addition to save the map.
....bug or feature? -
RE: RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault
@dc42 yep we can close it, thanks
-
RE: RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault
@dc42 seems my problem was the config-override.g. My parameters out of the config-override where not loaded.

RE: RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault
@gtj0 the print on the standalone system including DWC 2.1.2 was successful!

RE: RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault
@gtj0 its still still running, will report the final result..

RRF 3.01-RC8, DWC 2.1.3 and DSF 2.0.0: Heater Fault
@gtj0 as requested new thread...
SBC Version
Tool: Heater Error after a couple of minutes print. I tried 3 prints, any every print fails with the following messageWarning: Tool 0 was not driven because its heater temperatures were not high enough or it has a heater fault
Edit: Made a new PID run for booth heaters, but the issue still exists. new test is still running now in standalone mode RC8, DWC 2.1.2

same issue after emergency stop with DWC 2.1.3.

RE: RepRapFirmware 3.01-RC7 available
I made 2 print with 5 hours print time each, with the SBC connected.
the system is updated to the RC7 and the new DSF Framework, DWC
the system runs stable, no reconnects anymore.
looks good so far for me.
have to test some macros and other topics were i had issues...
thanks to @dc42 , @chrishamm

RE: Incident report: RRF 3 RC6 DWC 2.1.0 Lockup during print.
@Danal have exactly the same issue...
-
RE: RepRapFirmware 3.01-RC6 released
@jmjcoke the problem is not RC6, it’s the Duetframework.
if you run RC6 in stand-alone mode you shoudnt have issues. -
RE: RepRapFirmware 3.01-RC6 released
RC6 works for me in standalone mode and is stable.
SBC mode is still unstable.
think the reason is still the current version of the duet framework. -
RE: DSF 1.3.1 (unstable) released
@chrishamm @dc42 thank you guys,
after updating via apt upgrade the system is running again.
a new test print is running.Update: After 1h of printing DCS lost the connection again
