      Downward-going spikes in the temperature graph when using a thermistor as the temperature sensor normally indicate a bad connection in the thermistor wiring. Another user just had this problem, see https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/8778/troubleshooting-hotend-temp-signal/14.

      This could probably be too late, depending on the length of look ahead.
      Finding the best solution is way harder, since each line of code can take longer or shorter.
      My dual extruders always run at full temperature. Even when a tool is parked. I park the nozzle over a piece of nylon to prevent oozing and purge the tool, when it's reactivated.

      I set the Duet Ethernet to do Marlin output which was successful in connecting to octoprint but It only sends back the bed temperature and not both the bed and Hotend. Does anyone know why and how I could fix this? Thanks

      Given the first rate web interface the Duet firmware provides why do you need/want OctoPrint?

      The common causes of that issue are:

      1. Bad connection on the data in or the data out wire. Or the pins swapped in the cable.

      2 Mismatched baud rate. The baud rate set in the M575 command in config.g must match he baud rate set on the Setup page of PanelDue. The usual value is 57600.

      You can take it off the board, but if/when you upgrade to 1.19 series firmware you will get lots of error reports to the console.
