Vase mode prints in one direction only. Regular prints move the head in both directions. Which is why you see issues when printing regular prints.

I would say this is a backlash type mechanical issue. Check for loose pulleys, belts, ect.

Could also need to be tuned with pressure advance to compensate for the long bowden tube.

Well, it turn out to be a "feature" and not an error.. It does stutter but it is because I have "retract while wiping" on and 2mm wipe around small corners gives this kind of behaviour.

The main reason I asked about this is because I have an issue with some layers bulging, like overextruding or something. Going to start a new thread about it.

I would need to check; but on Duet 3 I think it would not be actioned because the heater doesn't exist yet, and if using an attached RPi then an error message would be produced. Duet 2 has default heaters so it would probably work.

@dc42 yes they are the slotted switch type but are encapsulated, pcb is not reachable. I could easily exchange them for 3.3v type ones but I have these and DueX supply 5v so I thought there would be an easy way to remap them.. Maybe I'll have a look at fw v3

I don't know much about this. Try using find integrals online and compare it with duet3d. You might get some solution to this.
