RE: Hot end's not changing temperature some times.
Is there a command I can type when the temp isn't changing to see what the duet thinks it is told? That way I can find out if it is the duet or if the web interface is causing me the issue?

Thanks for the suggestions. I figured the problem out I have to set the temp 1c higher than what I want my max to be in my config.g file.

How do I change the max temperature for my hotends?
I have this in the config.g but it still will not let me go that hot.

RE: Hot end's not changing temperature some times.
As far as I can tell the temp isnt changing. The next time it happens I will set it to zero and wait a while to see if it is dropping and not showing or the temp is staying.

Hot end's not changing temperature some times.
I have had an issue with my hotends some times not changing the temperature when I change it in the web interface. When it does this all I have to do to get it working again is to switch it off and then back on. So far I have only had the issue while I am heating up my hot ends to change filament and then I need to change them temp and it will just stay at the previous temp it doesn't matter what I set it to.
This is the firmware I am using.

RE: Temp shutting off while Z-probing
I just tested it with out shutting the heat off and it works just fine, thank all for the help.

RE: Temp shutting off while Z-probing
I read if you do not turn the heaters off they can mess with the Bltouch's reading.
-
RE: Temp shutting off while Z-probing
No I am not shutting it off, it shuts off when the Bltouch prob's then it turns back on.

RE: Duet 2 Wifi heat till 195 dagrees then nothing
Also you may check that the fan you are using for you heatsink isn't blowing to hard, I was having that problem with my dual head setup. Slowed the fan down and then redid the pid tunning and now both heads work fine.

Temp shutting off while Z-probing
Is there a way to have the printer pause after Z-probing to let the bed temp and the hotend temp raise back up before printing? My hotend looses about 20c while the bed is being probed.

RE: Heater 1 not shutting off
It said that it was heating up to slow, at present I do not have a tool fan hooked up so it did give an error that the temp wasn't dropping from the cooling fan.
-
RE: Heater 1 not shutting off
I found the problem when I ran the pid tunning it didn't tune correctly I was running M303 T0 S245 and it did fault a few times before I could get it to tune. I just ran M303 T0 H1 S245 and it tuned a lot better I can now turn the heater on and it holds where it is suppose to.

Heater 1 not shutting off
I am setting up a Duet 2 wifi with a Duex 5, I have everything hooked up the way I want it but on my Heater 1 when it reaches temp it does not shut off it keeps heating until the board throws an error. Both of my hotends are volcanos. I have even tried changing heater 1 to another heater output and still the same problem.

RE: Z-axis up without homing macro
If I am away from my house and I have to cancel the print because of a problem my printer is no longer homed. I just wanted to be able to raise the head so it doesn't cool down setting on the part.
-
RE: Z-axis up without homing macro
I tested it and that works great thanks.
-
RE: Z-axis up without homing macro
Ok thanks I will give it a try as soon as my printer is done printing.
-
RE: Z-axis up without homing macro
I just tried that macro and my head went toward the bed.
