You do not need the M950 command in the deploy and retract probe macro please remove those, it should just be in your config.g

Please run M98 P"0:/sys/config.g" and post the output here to see if there are any issues with the config.

Finally if you can please test the functionality with the old settings and without the Duex 5 to see if it makes a difference.

@oliof no, it’s that there is no standard for describing how to connect the coils. We followed Trinamics naming for Duet 2 WiFi/ Ethernet, but even they changed it, which is why we ended up with (from the link I posted):

Each stepper motor connector has four pins. On Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet these are labelled '2B 2A 1A 1B' on the back of the board, and on the wiring diagram. The '1' and '2' refer to the coil or phase, the 'A' and 'B' refer to the positive and negative.

On Duet 2 Maestro and Duet 3, the four motor connector pins are labelled 'B1 B2 A1 A2' on the back of the board and on the wiring diagram. The 'A' and 'B' refer to the coil or phase, the '1' and '2' refer to the positive and negative. This is the naming convention used by most stepper motor manufacturers.

@Phaedrux yes, just changed the wiring from paneldue pins to probe on the board. You ca see my mistake on the photo

Might be a good idea to post them anyway. It's possible to change either homing direction or motor direction to accomodate for an incorrect endstop definition.

Keep in mind that 0,0 origin point should be the front left corner. x+ goes to the right, x- goes to the left, y- goes to the front, y+ goes to the back. If the motors move opposite to this you should change the motor direction. From there the endstop position is either at the high end or low end of travel of the axis. Set with M574 X1 or X2, etc. Then the homing direction in the homing files should move the axis towards the endstop.

In fact I was thinking of using the 4 drivers on the board for x, y, z and c axes. And the Tool Distribution Board for the 3 or 4 extruders.
As you mentioned, it should be easy enough for the processor to work this way.

Is there a more recent config file version for the tool changer? I'm not sure if the end stop switch on the tool carriage is intended to be used as a probe or a normal switch. Once a tool is mounted you'll need the offset applied. I'm not familiar enough with the e3d tool changer to give precise advice.
