RE: 3D Printing Industry Awards 2018 nominations - just 1 day left!
Done.
Although for "Innovation of the year" I nominated Precision Piezo.

RE: Expansion Header and Chamber Heater SSR
I may be quite wrong here, but would heater 7 not be H6 in the config since numbering of the heaters starts at H0?

RE: My Version Of The Hypercube Evolution
Amazing job! I'd already be happy to have mine enclosed just half as nice as yours is.

RE: Second print height issues
I would also double-check if you have a config-override.g file with G31 gcodes in it. Those will override your G31 settings in config.g
Had that happen to me before and ended up having to comment them out. -
RE: BLTouch working
Correct. The Z offset is the difference between the trigger height of the probe and the height of the nozzle tip. So in your case that would be around 0.45, which would be what you put as your Z value.
It basically just means that when your probe triggers, it will know that the nozzle is still 0.45mm above the bed.
Here are good instructions for finding the correct value:

MKS tft32 & Duet
I know there was a thread already where this was discussed. Unfortunately I can't find it right now.
Either way, I followed the instructions given here: https://hackaday.io/project/18852-alternative-firmware-for-mks-tft32I just wanted to report that I managed to get it to work following those instructions. So thank you for putting them up and creating the necessary firmware!
Here is a short video showing the hookup and operation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnsjCUPgt34The Duet isn't set up yet since this one is going to go into a new printer I am just building now. Even so, the communication between the tft32 and Duet works perfectly.

RE: CoreXY Z-Axis steps/mm question
Chances are you might have a multi start lead screw. While it is a 2mm pitch, the lead will then be a multiple of that. E.g. 4-start lead screw with 2mm pitch = 8mm lead (8mm travel per turn). In that case 8mm would be the number to put in the calculator, not 2.

RE: What is my speed limit?
E3D has a new version of the sock, which looks better: http://e3d-online.com/E3D-v6/Spares/V6-Sock-Kit-3-Pack
Ordered some of them to try. But yeah, had the same problem as you with the old version. -
RE: Help with setting up firmware for coreXY machine - unable to home.
I just had the same issue with the generated homeall.g file. Despite going through it line by line I could not find an issue.
In the end I just completely cleared the file, saved it empty, and then manually inserted the X, Y, Z homing commands from their respective homing files into homeall.g.
Now it works.Duet Ethernet with 1.18.1 by the way.
