Project R3D has recently released our new line of Talos printers. The Talos is designed to be a feature-packed large-format printer aimed to be a workhorse for many industries. With build volumes ranging from 600x600x600mm up to 600x1800x600mm you can print full automotive body panels all at once.

IDEX is standard on all Talos units, allowing for several different print configurations. Support removal and post-processing of the part can be a major hassle when working with such large parts, having a dedicated support material allows for effortless removal and minimal cleanup. Speed is always a factor in additive, but with such large build volumes, speed is even more critical. Running a high-detail nozzle for small details or walls and then having a large nozzle for supports and infill can drastically reduce print time.
When it comes to speed, the Talos has it. Rapids in X,U, and Y are limited to 1000mm/sec. The only thing holding you back will be your hotends volumetric flow rate.
We offer the Talos assembled or as sub-assemblies for those who can't fit an assembled unit into their shop.
