@paboman In most cases, cabling issues are reported as „sensor error“. The message „too little movement“ means exactly that, so either the filament does not move as it should, or the sensor system doesn’t register this movement.

As the reported mag and agc values are within the tolerances, I think you should have a closer look at the mechanics of the MFM. This includes the filament path and smooth operation of the idler (including the ball bearing of the idler).

In your video, I notice the absence of PTF tubes on both sides of the sensor. Please add them, they are needed to guide the filament.

After ruling out mechanical errors, you might want to look at the cabling: at a length of 3 meters, I think you should go with a USB cable and separate that from your bundle, at least for testing.

@paboman on my deltas with smart effector I need to home the effector then run G30 to establish the Z0 datum, and after i have the G29 S1 to load the mesh

@paboman Alternatively, notepad++ (which is free) will do what you want quickly and easily using "Search" - "Replace". Just remember that when you "save as" by default, it will add .txt to the end of the file so you need to remove that extension. Or you can associate .g files with notepad++ then it won't add the .txt extension.

I have removed, cleaned with IPA and reinstered the yellowish flex cable.
Hope this will solve the lines problem, as always intermittent issues are hard to track down

As T3P3Tony said there could be a tool change in the actual gcode. 😉

Another problem could be that your customer set the temperatur for the first layer right but changed the temperatur of the other layers. I know this from the prusa slicer:

But then it doesn't make sense that the tool gets deaktivated...

You must also connect a resistor (usually 4.7k) between the thermistor input and VREF on the expansion connector.

Can you tell me where you got your pt1000 and what your successful M305 config was?

We are testing pt1000 as well and have been noticing some temp reading oddities. Thanks

I had to increase the T value a little bit to match the real temperatures to the read ones.
now it seems to work ok

Deleting file index.html from the /www folder on the SD card should also work.
