I think you are over-extruding. Try to adjust extrusion ratio down (95%?).
Post it to postimage.io or similar service.

I suggest you set the current to 1500mA. If you get skipped steps you can increase it, but above about 2000mA the motors will run hot.
The default microstepping of x16 with interpolation works well for most motors and printers.
It is a private construction printer with a 300x 300 print bed. Thanks for the tip. I will look forward to it soon.
Some suggestions:
1. If S3D has an "Avoid crossing perimeters" option for travel moves, enable it.
2. Use a small amount of Z lift in your retraction settings - although this can be quite slow on non-delta printers.

Sounds like the wiring to the stepper is wrong. Did you check the poles?
