RE: Closed-loop stepper motor problems
I think it will help a lot if you share your config.g and a few photos of your setup. So guys here can pinpoit the issue. Also if you use the search in the forum you will find similar trouble , together with the solutions.\By experience usualy the problem is the speed of comunication between Duet and the external drivers

RE: I ma not able to write or edit on DUET 3 3.5.2 firmware
Fixed it . It was 2 years old SD card. Good quality card. Formated a new one and created new structure witht the current firmware and config. back to printing

I ma not able to write or edit on DUET 3 3.5.2 firmware
After 2 weeks pause I powered my Duet controled printer with Duet 3 board and I am not able to uplad any file
get this kind of error
I think it is SD card

@T3P3Tony Was not able to DM will see you there I would get 2 motors if you have them there

RE: Duet 3 Motor 23CL
@T3P3Tony I am quite interested too. Will be @ formnext in the same hall I suppose

RE: Scanning Z probe support in RRF 3.5

-
RE: Auto Recovery from XY step loss
@Adamfilip It is already
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Stall_detection_and_sensorless_homing
Just set a macro of what will the printer do when stall detection occurs
By experience, it is a tricky business -
RE: Getting started with Closed Loop
@dc42 I have a question
Is there a tested closed loop motor with encoder and magnetic brake, tested to work with DUET3 + HCL board -
RE: New Large Format IDEX Printer Project
@sebkritikel Happy new year. Thank you very much for the guidelines. For tool heads I think I will go with Hemera, I have one running in a chamber for more than a year and a half. Another option is biqu h2 500, which is designed for heat chambers, this has the great advantage that the heartbreak can be adjusted in height and one great disadvantage of having not hardened drive gears

RE: New Large Format IDEX Printer Project
Sorry for writing in old theme, but I think it could be useful to be found in the same place.
First @sebkritikel very impressive work. I did build in the past a few machines, including IDEX and actively heated ones, but not in the same setup.
I am planning to build a new one and might be using your design as a foundation.
One thing I do not see in CAD and I think is not mentioned anywhere.
How do you align in the Z axis both IDEX heads? In my experience, this is the key for printing in copy and mirror mode -
wiring CAN toolboard v1.1 to 6HC board
according to this for 1.1 tool board I have to wire only 2 wires for CAN and solder termination pads on the back. Is this correct?

RE: IDEX max 2000€
@tecno try MULDEX it is RepRap DIY and fits in your budget

RE: External driver not working
@fbunel I am running such external drives with duet2 and expansion board and it works. For duet 3 I believe they have a board without drivers
-
RE: Bambu Lab Printer (for discussion, not promotion)
I Got one .
It is fast.
Also very close to experince like geting HP laser jet and runing it. Espesialy with PLA.
This thing will take away the good sleep of Prusa, ultimaker, Raise 3d etc -
RE: How to check if variable is float or int
@owend I see . Most probably it is my mistake, so I did some workaround
In the main program I create a loop calling 50 times a macro that contains 3125 loops of my code with echo in the end -
RE: How to check if variable is float or int
In the end both versions with boolean or , and with mod comand did not work. Both program stops on the second itteration of 3125.
I ended up using 50 while loops calling the same code in a macro that rins 3125 loops.
This works like a charmWhile iterations = 50 M98 P"test"
And the test macro is
While iterations = 3125 ..........
