@jay_s_uk Hi I use events for some of the errors, to filter out other issues. I don't see where the actual measured variable is recorded or how it is named.

Rare negative readings from filament sensor causing pause
I have had a couple of circumstances when I have had a negative reading from the filament sensor. I would like to ignore these errors and prevent negative readings causing a pause. Does anyone know the best way to achieve this? Many thanks Jeremy

Anyone know why stallguard doesn't initiate with duet 3 mini. Changing the sensitivity doesn't work, it is just not responsive. It clatters no matter what. I can get it working on a Duet 2 board without any hiccup at all with a super light touch as well. It doesnt appear to be firmware related as I rolled back to 4.6..

Sensorless homing not working with Duet 3 mini
I am not able to get sensorless homing working with a duet 3 mini running firmware 3.5 rc2. I have looked and cannot see where it is going wrong and have tried numerous settings to no avail. Not sure if I should go back to an older version of the firmware. Hopefully I am missing something really stupid. My main config is below followed by my homex file. Many thanks

Hi I would like to know what is the distance between the magnet and the sensor on the V4 filament sensor should be. The housing designed by Lo-fi gives an error of magnet too strong. The standard housing is working fine but there is a little more filament resistance. If I know the optimum distance I may modify the Lo-fi housing to deal with the change in magnet of the new version (V4) Anyway if someone knows the dimension it would make things very simple. Handling error codes to switch off power using M81
I am trying to understand if there are any settings to get the duet to switch off the 24V power supply using the M81 command. As far as I can see the heaters are turned off if it detects an issue, but it does not turn off the power supply. I can switch the power on and off no issues and this is handy at the end of printing. However I am not sure about how error messages can be arranged to power down the 24 volt power supply.

This works perfectly. I can turn the 24 volt power supply on and off and still see what is going on. I would like the machine to turn the 24 volt power supply off on errors eg over temperature on the bed or extruder, no sensor, temperature not rising sufficiently etc. I added M81 to the stop macro and this hasn't worked for error messages. I guess this macro doesn't run on error commands. If someone can tell me how to assign error outputs to run a shut down of the 24 volts power supply I would appreciate. Many thanks Jeremy

Duet 2, I want to arrange for the 24 volt power supply to be switched off via a solid state relay in the event of error reports.. and when required at the end of print jobs. I have a secondary 5 volt supply for the duet so if remains on when the 24 volt power supply is switched off. I would like to configure so that the 24 volt power supply is switched on via 5 volts applied to a SSR. I am not clear if or how I can use the PS_ON pin to arrange for this to happen as it goes to ground and I need to arrange 5 volts to get to the SSR via a switch from the duet. I hope this make sense.
