I want to use the printer to print things not waste time and filament chasing an issue, taking a retrograde step has allowed me to get back to printing.

Tool board heater auto tuning is available in firmware 3.3beta1 which was released last weekend.

I've been told that the auto load is only set on a fresh install of 3.2, as in going from 3.1.1 to 3.2. If a previous beta had been installed it would need to be loaded manually. @JayJay what version were you on previous to 3.2?

The DWC what's new notes are here. They should be linked along with the main release notes as well especially now that DWC/DSF/RRF are intertwined, but separate.

The board (duet-3-mini-5+) came with what duet3d released it with.
I updated to Firmware: 3.2-RC2 (2020-12-24) just after i received it.

Thanks. That may be enough then. Sorry about that. The SD cards get burned ahead of time and the early production runs had to be ready before 3.2 was final.

Well I finally fixed it....

My homeall.g had G30 S-3 in the script.

I removed that and changed it to single G30 command on its own and now it completes the G32 action with no errors, I dont know why it works fine on my Duet-2 with the S-3 switch in my homeall but the mini 5 doesnt like it

Perhaps your Duet 2 is running old firmware that doesn't support the S3 parameter?

The Duet-2 was/is on Release 3.2-RC1

And to confirm

Duet-2 WOULD complete the action with G30 S-3

Duet-3 Mini-5+ WOULD NOT complete the action G30 S-3

The Mini-5+ would only complete after i removed the S-3 switch

Yes it should have worked, provided that the fuse for the heaters/motors/fans is intact (the bed heater uses a separate fuse).

Did the red LED next to OUT2 light when you tried to turn on the bed heater? Did you try running M98 P"config.g" to check for errors in the config,g file?

The fuses are all intact.

I cant remember if the LED turned on or not, since i moved it to out0 and it worked i left it alone.

M98 reports

M98 P"config.g" HTTP is enabled on port 80 FTP is disabled TELNET is disabled

but i am now encountering an issue with getting the probe to be recognised during G32

Well, I don't know what happened with the SPI buffer, maybe some problem with the driver but it worked after resetting it to 8192.

I did all the steps again from scratch to be sure and it works now.

Thank you so very much, an excellent spot, the M569 commands are correct .

I have edited M584 to match and that got rid of the driver0 error and everything is now homing. thank you again.
