Has anyone made/found a part cooling fan setup for the E3D Hemera, when used with the duet 3 toolboard?
Looks like a very nice solution for my wiring project on my Tevo Beastnado

trying to assemble the top and bottom triangle with the parts from @dc42 kossel bom.

does anyone have any neat tricks to how I can get the extrusions onto all 3 corners?
the I-type t-nuts are just doing all they can to mess this build up...

@fma I want to do a custom buildplate like the geckotec system.
(they dont have the base plate for my Tevo Tornado)

I've been trying to find suppliers of custom cut tooling plate, and I have found several in the UK with really decent prices.
eg clickmetal only wants £22 for it.

The problem is that none of them ships outside the UK.

Does anyone know of a supplier for tooling plate that might ship to Norway (or worst case Sweden)?

I hope to create a 370x310x6mm buildplate where I can cnc out pockets for magnets on the top surface for a gecktotec magnetic buildplate

Seems the chinese has started cloning the duetwifi.
Interesting to see they actually credit think3dprint3d and esher3d.
They even print on the board that it’s not supported or endorsed by the creators.

These are the ones I got that's for B-type and not I-type.
B-type = 6mm, I-type = 5mm.
Eg. they wont turn in the slot unfortunately

No other place to get them?
Motedis do not ship to Norway, so I had to get it shipped to a different country, and pick it up there.
It was ok for the extrusions, due to the huge save in cost, but the t-nuts will be pretty expensive unless I can get them elsewhere.

I followed dc42's build guide for kossel build, and got 2020 i-type extrusions from Motedis.
I ordered t-nuts (m3,m4 and m5) from Robotdigg, but it seems they dont fit the Motedis extrusions.
Where can I find t-nuts that work?

Copper grease works great, enhances thermal transfer and enables easy dismantling. CPU compounds can work, but not all of them are rated to 300 deg C.

Very good point.
Arctic Silver is rated to max 180c, so that's definitely not a good fit

Be careful you dont get thermal adhesive.
They work like a compound, but you'll never get things apart in one piece

I'm probably going to use copper paste as is used on bolts and on the backside of brake pads on cars.
(If copper paste is a good solution).

This might be a good solution that's pretty cheap.

There are at least 2 variables, i.e. how long, and whether for a PT100 or a thermistor connection.

Hey!

Have anyone thought of making a wiring harness for the DC42 kossel for Duet Wifi/Ethernet and the new PCB effector?
I'd pay to have this made properly with all connectors, correct wire gauge etc.
