Ahh, so kind of like the max length of the FIFO that was hit? I notice I hit 364 on my last print. I've stepped down to 128x and trying the print again.

Edit: Same print I got 17 now with 128x vs 364 @ 256x. Guess I'll stick with 128x.

This is what's put me off mixing hotends so far is the fear of being unable to remove a blockage from a nozzle and having a large chunk of scrap brass in the waste metal bin shortly afterwards. Is there a way to have a cheap, easily replaceable mixing nozzle?

No easily replaceable nozzle yet (or not one that I know of) - but I hold my hopes up. IMO the perfect mixing hot end has yet to be designed (but I'm working on it…...)

Having said that, the only time I've had issues with blockages has been caused by heat creep and a softening then hardening of the filament inside the heat sinks. Easily remedied by letting the hot end cool down properly before turning off the machine\fan (we live and learn). I am very careful with what goes into the hot end though, and I dare not try anything that might be abrasive in nature.

…................... The Prussa calculator btw appears to have some perhaps poor labeling of terms as it shows "Leadscrew pitch" with the units being in mm per revolution. This is a bit misleading at best. I suppose technically still accurate.

It's a common mistake that I often see . Pitch and lead get mis-quoted a lot and no, technically it isn't accurate.

I have it on my work list to add an option to the M81 command to defer powering down until specified thermostatic fans have turned off.

That would be perfect and a great solution.

You definitely need to connect a flyback diode across the relay coil, to protect the PS_ON mosfet from the back emf. Or use a solid state relay.

Thanks for responding, I was planing on doing so as I'm a bit paranoid on that subject however it's good to get that you better or else feedback. I think an SSR would be the best method, The boss says no more spending so I'm going with a 5V coil 10A relay for now. I'll toss in something fast to snub those spikes. Need to get my standby PSU in a small case now, good thing I have a 3D printer.

Do you have the option enabled or disabled? It should be disabled, if my hunch is correct. Did you try printing the object with that disabled?

Also, do you have a bowden tube? It is not abnormal, at all, for enough pressure to build up to expel that much filament during a move, especially considering you say your print feedrate is so high.

Edit: Oh I just saw your last explanation. That seems to be it.

What were you useing for grease ? I like to use molly diluted with 3 in one oil . Molly can make anything slippery . I use the oil mix to lube the smooth rods every 4 or so prints .
May I ask who made the carriage ?
I was also wondering why no heatsink on the processer and the mosfets ?
