Good evening,
I have the duet3mb6ch, I've just taken delivery on a 2.2kw water cooled spindle, is there any recommended ways of wiring it to my CNC.

Good afternoon,
I'm after some help setting up my CNC using the Duet 3 in standalone with ethernet.
I have it configured directly to my laptop using ethernet, not through a router.
I think everything is wired up correctly but I seem to be stuck setting the motors, when I click home all to see what happens and what needs changing I get one of the X motors move slightly then that's all. I can't get any of the others to move, can anyone help me please?
Thanks
I've now got it working straight to the laptop via ethernet.
I think it might be some settings in my router causing the connection issue

Just about to add my limit switches on my CNC (X, Y, Z)
I've read a fair bit online and it seems better/safer to wire them as NC instead of NO?
Can I also confirm I'm wiring them correctly on my Duet3 6CH board
I0_1/2/3
3.3V = NC
GND = Gnd

Thanks,
I formatted it using the SD Card Formatter (Via download link in SD help section)
Good evening, as above I'm having issues getting my duet connected,
I'm trying to run it in standalone mode but having issues, can anyone assist me? (I've had it twice where I get an I.P back from the board but when I go to the I.P address I get the error
"Your duet rejected the http request: Page not found. Check that the SD card is mounted and has the correct files in its /www folder"
I've not changed any of these files since creating a new SD image?
Thanks
I didn't get chance to play around with the duet3 yesterday but I formatted the SD card using the mentioned program and get generated a new copy to transfer to my SD card (As below) does this look right? So now its a case of putting the SD card in and connecting to it?
Thanks
Okay thank you, I'll try and get it done this afternoon and hopefully see some movement.
Thank you!
With regards to creating the new image, I haven't got a clue on the settings I need, is there a default/standard image/SSD file I can download that would have come with my version of duet3?

Thanks, I think this is where I'm going wrong as it was still showing files on it afterward.
Thank you
I'm in the process of setting up my cnc machine using the duet3, I had to format the sd card as it wouldn't read it.. Can anyone supply me with the latest files to copy over please?
Any help would be much appreciated
Good evening, I'm now in a position to start setting up my duet3 on my CNC machine and hopefully see some movement
I can't find any previous to help me?
Thanks
Thanks for the reply, limit switches will be easier to mount, is there much wiring difference between them?
I'll add a picture of my build, please excuse the mess, its a small workshop.
Good evening from the UK!
This is my first post here, I bought a CNC machine online, I've have had nothing but hassle with a poor service. (He has now removed his website and no reply's to emails, seems to be a few of us in the same situation)
My machine is almost ready for the electrics (Its been a long 12 weeks getting to this stage)
I've got the motors in place (Nema23's)
I've got a Duet3 boxed and ready to go.
I haven't got any limit switches yet but after reading up on proximity sensors, they seem to be the better option? My only questions is how can I get them to the 5V needed? Resistors?
Also can anyone recommend what cables I'm best using for motors and the proximity sensors?
Really appreciate any help, thank you!
