thanks @deckingman I'll give it a try once I have the fan actually wired into the bed, but this should probably work well.

enclosure fan for heated chamber without a chamber heater
So my printer is enclosed and has an enclosure fan but not an enclosure heater because it already reaches 50 degrees easily.
Now I am wanting to use a fan to turn on once the camber reaches 45 degrees because that's the temperature i'm most comfortable with.
I'm using RRF3 on a duet2 wifi

RE: Pressure advance tuning
@dc42 @deckingman i'm running an 0.4 nozzle, I tried deckingman his method with petg and this is the result I got on
M572 D0 S0.2

@dc42 picture model as you can see all the corners are sharp as a knife.

RE: Pressure advance tuning
yes I used that, but couldn't really see a difference.

Pressure advance tuning
Hello! I've been trying to tune pressure advance (pa) for a bit now and basically did M572 D0 S0.05 every 20 layers (with the little gcode bar at the top) and see if there is any difference. though the problem is is that I don't see any differences between the 10 settings from S0.05-> 0.2
I'm printing this model at 100mm/s with a 60cm capricorn xs bowden driven by a bondtech bmg and a genuine e3d v6.I made a little test model

enable retract on layer change.

RE: Bondtech BMG owners what are your accel and jerk settings?
@deckingman @burtoogle which such high jerk values don't you find your extruder to make a louder sound, this might have put my off at first.

@syko_symatic just press f5 untill it loads ...

Bondtech BMG owners what are your accel and jerk settings?
I'm having serious issues tuning my bowden setup, some people pointed out that my acceleration and jerk settings where a bit high. could you guys help me out? ps: I use a 600mm bowden

RE: underextrusion after travel
no not yet haven't found a way to calibrate it yet for my printer any idea
how @bot ? -
RE: Issues with extruding after retractions
like it's not preducing any blobs or stings on this setting it's only acting up after a travel

underextrusion after travel
Gear 9 Feb 2019, 14:54
Hello everyone,
first of all I'm in love with my duet2wifi damn what a joy to just be able to toss gcodes to your browser and having it print.
so I have finished my hypercube evo for 2 weeks now and all in all I love the design and all the bells and whistles I added to it. though this is the first time using a bowden and I just can't figure out why it's underextruding after a long travel move, I searched everywhere online and couldn't seem to solve it. please be my hero and safe me.
I tried dissabling coasting this didn't fix it. for the top layer for the bridging test it seems to travel from the other side and start extruding the last inner wall before starting with the roof, but it needs the whole inner wall section to prime the nozzle.
I think all the info is in the imgur pictures, if you need anything else I can deliver.
edit : i'm running firmware 2.01(RTOS)

RE: Issues with extruding after retractions
the weird part is that it only happens when it travels a long while and than has to extrude, if you look at my calibration cubes the top layer is mostly perfect. I just can't seem to figure out what the issue is. temp is fine and filament diameter is 1.78
i'm still at a loss

RE: Bed leveling with 2 Z motors
this seems more like issue you have to resolve because if your probe is malfunctioning it's better to just ditch it and get something else to probe.

RE: Issues with extruding after retractions
left is with max comb distance of 10 (top surface on the bridges look a lot better)
right is with combing turned off.sadly enough this doesn't seem to fix it :<

here is the gcode for the bridging test where the top layer failed. also looking at the path it takes and the model on my desk it's only showing serious issues after long travel moves. so on one side the middle part is fine but the second layer is not because it's "priming" and on the other side the inner wall is missing because it's using that as "prime" or something.
