Yes, What kills the mosfet is avalanche current caused by the the inductive back EMF from the inductive load exceeding the rated voltage of the mosfet. The mosfet can tolerate a small amount of avalanche energy, but your DC motor is likely to generate more than that.

Hello Tony, Thanks for your reponse. Any idea how the firmware would react to very high values like displaying pressure in pascal (1bar is 100000 pascal) or Kpascal. If i use absolute pressures the values that i need should be in the range of 50 to 150 kpascal. I assume that this should be fine for the firmware?

I'm happy with my wifi right now. No issue there I found so far. LOL!

Are you certain you have 2.03 release firmware installed, not a 2.03beta or 2.03RC version?

Have you tried 2.04?
