Thanks! I think I have this right. It seems to be slower executing the M220 S100 in my trigger file. I think I have this set right. There might be a better way but it works!

M581 T7 P0 S0

In my trigger7.g file I have
M220 S5 ; set speed 5%
G4 S5 ;delay 5 seconds
M220 S100 ; set speed 100%

We changed the interpolation to be off as we were testing the effects, but seems that we forgot to turn it back on during firmware dev. With the Zsteps being 2000steps/mm, interpolation should definitely be on.

I will look at the acceleration and jerk settings again, as those haven't been looked at since the release of the V3 printer and could definitely be higher

@chickenwoman @dc42 glad to hear that you got it figured out on the Duet2.

I did do the initial port to D3mini, and I believe there are others using it with a Bltouch.

@chickenwoman is it possible to confirm this using this method:

access the back of the filament monitor so you can mark a line on the hob/case as a reference. (say vertically). then you can try moving the filament a known distance back and forwards through the monitor to see if you can generate slips

Thanks, that was so simple. When I was first reading about it I was confused on the wiring and didn't want to risk shorting the board. Read it again and it was easy. The + goes to an active 5v pin, I just used pin #1, and the ground goes to the PS On. Can't get any easier.
