Endstop optical configuration
-
Hello everyone, is going to receive a duet 2 wifi 1.04, I can install classic optical stops on this board, as they are configured on the online configurator, on a board with marlin I configured as electronic, normally gnd but I can't find the correct parameter on the configurator online of the duet, I'm new with this card and before making mistakes I ask you.
thank you -
What you mean by classic optical stops? If they are common optical endstops with 3 wires (V, S and G), then they usually work fine with duet. You have to connect them to endstop connectors the way that V goes to 3,3v, G goes to ground and S goes to signal. In config they are configured just as usual endstops with active high output, so with S1 parameter. Look at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_Wiring_Diagrams and https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M574_Set_endstop_configuration .

Exactly, the limit switches with three wires are all clear for now thanks, I hope I don't bother too much with too many goat questions :)) but I'm new with this board, I'm setting up a kossel-like delta with a 340mm flat and a height with linear guides from 900mm, for now I'm documenting while I wait for the card to arrive

You welcome. Duet wiki will answer most, if not all of your questions.

Thanks for the availability, another question if possible, coming from marlin for me is all new and I am afraid of doing damage, so it is possible to configure https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3212906 instead that bl touch and similar
thank you -
@peppino12 I think that probe could work. You would need to use probe type P4 or P5 depending on how you connected it.
