is it alive or dead
-
I agree, the WiFi module is dead, because it failed to connect at all the baud rates that were tried. With the right tools (hot air desoldering equipment or very low melting point solder), it can be removed and then replaced. Don't try to remove it without one of those.
The ESP-12S that you linked to is the correct module. Or you can use the ESP-07S + external antenna, such as https://www.amazon.com/Chironal-ESP8266-ESP-07S-Wireless-Transceiver/dp/B07M7L1CGL/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1548322176&sr=1-12&keywords=esp-07s.

@dc42
so after this disaster what's better option and ( safer ) to put capacitive sensor NPN 24 v
end stop E1 or in z probe ? -
after search I find this diagram is it will work :
My power in 24 Vdc so the capacitive sensor NPN 24 vblue for +
brown for -
black for signal -
That diagram is good if your Duet is PCB revision 1.04. With earlier PCB revisions, we recommend using a diode as described in the wiki page con connecting z probes.
-
-
Actually brown is + and blue is ground (-)
-
yah I notes that but I was lazy to change the color
any way nothing will happen to capacitive sensor it's just will not function . -
-
The diode goes the other way round.
-
-
That's better.

I have Receive the new control unit and I just connect with yat and put old sd card and all setting work fine
also I connect the capacitive sensor and it's work perfect
but still have issue with the screen
note : can you please put this diagram in you web site so if any one has same capacitive sensor NPN can find some data and not make my mistake !*

Thanks for the diagram. I've added it to the wiki page.
