Creatbot D600 Pro

Holy crap 9K? Such a shame they used a inferior board for a commercial grade machine that weighs 275lbs.
I really like the belt mechanisms in that thing,
Basic cuboid Cartesians are nice because they are very simple and accurate, especially when you have a huge steel box to mount the axes to.

Hello darkstarone, can you post the settings of Simplify once?
I have taken over the settings of Creatware. But I do not come to a good result. -
Hi Darkstone,
Do you have any advice or tips on installing the duet3d board into the Creatbot D600 Pro?
We are looking to do this as well but don't really know where to start. -
@Gawein While not specific to the Creatbot, it's not a bad idea to start with gathering as many details about the existing machine as possible.
-
I currently have the same question as @Gawein.... it would be great if you could share the config.g with us.
@Phaedrux this seems like an excellent place to start. I also noticed the D600 Pro has a heated build chamber. And the Duet only has one heater output. Probably it will need the Duex as well. Or an external temp controller.

And the Duet only has one heater output.
The Duet wifi has a high current bed heater and 2 extruder heaters. To control a chamber heater you would likely want to use an SSR which could be controlled from either a heater pin, or unused fan or PWM capable pin.

@Phaedrux That sounds good. I guess it's a matter of taking small steps and triple-checking everything before the mains power is switched on. Hopefully it won't become some kind of bbq or frying party over here... I'm not an electronics engineer....

We bought the D600 Pro too and we are very disappointed. To make a long story short I just ordered the Duet2 WiFi and the 7” PanelDue. It would be great if you could share more details of your conversion. Do we have to order more components from Duet or is the printer Hardware easy to connect to the board? Any details would be appreciated.

@wapuraralf Being that this is such an old thread you may have better luck posting some more targeted specific questions as a new thread and we can help you along.
