My Large Delta

My large delta is now alive and printing. It's been a long time in the making, I started it early 2018 but had a real push in December to get it finished. I'm really pleased with how well it is printing but it still needs some slicer tweaking to get rid of the stringing.
My first upgrade will certainly to be replace the part cooling fan, it's just way too noisy I had a Noctua 40mm delivered yesterday, so that will be going on possibly today.
I'm also considering replacing the Titan and long bowden with a Flex3Drive. Has anyone had any experience with these on the Smart Effector?

@flopo76 nice that’s exactly what I’m thinking. Will contact Flex3Drive see what they can offer as I can’t see a specific smart effector compatible variant on their website.

I ran a flexdrive on my smart effector but no matter what I tried it would never operate very well, spoke yo the the supplier and it seemed no matter what it was always my fault. it was removed as junk, I fitted a zesty nimble and it just worked.

@calvinx hmmm that's disappointing. The video linked above and his other videos do show it working so I am willing to give it a try.
I have had a look at the Zesty Nimble, it looks like a great unit and a lot smaller. Shame it's out of stock.
I'll probably order the Flex3drive and give that a go while waiting for the Nimble to be available.

I Believe the Nimble should be back in stock within 2 weeks there are expecting the parts this week I believe

@dougal1957 yeah messaged them on Facebook earlier they got back to me pretty much instantly, which was great. They're expecting to be shipping again mid January.
