Voron 2.4 - Toolboard 1LC (V1.3) Mount
-
Hello,
I'm building my Voron 2.4 with a Duet 3 Mainboard HC and a Toolboard 1LC V1.3 because I like having just 4 wires connected from the toolhead to the mainboard.
But actually it's quite hard to find a mount for a toolboard to a Stealthburner / Clockwork2 Extruder anywhere on the internet. I remember seeing some pictures on this forum in the past, but i don't find it anymore.
Could anyone provide me with files for mounting the Toolboard 1LC (preferably V1.3, but any version would do as long as it's in a file format like STEP which I could alter. I would also provide the edited files if so possible and wished for)?
Thank you and kind regards

@c_ern the ones i have seen are here:
https://www.teamfdm.com/files/file/732-stealthburner-cw1-cw2-for-duet-lc1-toolboards/
but they are only to v1.2 and do not have CAD with them AFAIR, maybe at least they are inspiration to make a 1.3 version. -
@T3P3Tony Thank you. Yeah, that's what i've found so far as well. I wrote to the user who uploaded this, maybe he will respond. Otherwise will try to remodel this.
Another model I found was this one:
https://www.printables.com/model/710408-duet-1lc-toolboard-rev-11-voron-steathburner-mount
It's for V1.1, but it would be a lot easier to remodel to V1.3.
Is there any benefit on where to put the TB aside from looks?
Should I prefer one over the other? -
@c_ern no particular benefit other the location of the connecters versus the power in and various connectors out.

@c_ern Even if you print the 1LC 1.1 or 1.2 mount, it should work for the 1.3, just be held on by two screws rather than four, as only two of the four screw hole locations changed between the versions. Other toolboards, eg RRF-36 and Roto, seem to get by with only two screws!

@droftarts Thank you both!
I ended up remodeling the Printables Parts as I also needed a different cable chain mount and it was easier to remodel than the other one. Now I'm going to figure out the specialities of the toolboard... -
