dimensional inaccuracies in printed parts

hello,

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I'm encountering while using the Duet2 WiFi.

I have attached an image that illustrates the dimensional inaccuracies I am observing in the printed parts.

the 150mm diameter circle displayed in the image demonstrates one instance of this issue, and I am experiencing a similar problem with a square also.

Any suggestion? @dc42 @Phaedrux

@R006 I don't think anyone will be able to help without knowing more about your setup. Post your config.g file. What "servo motors" are you using and how do you have them connected to the Duet board?Also is there a reason you are running 3.4beta3 rather than the latest released version?

is there a reason you are running 3.4beta3 rather than the latest released version?

@R006 You haven't provided any information about the servo motors you are using or about how they drive the head movement (so does the printer use belts, is there any sort of step down in the drive etc). Also is that your full config.g file? How did you determine that the steps per mm is 31.22, that seems like an unusual and relatively low value. How are the servo motors interfaced to the Duet board?

@gloomyandy sorry i am using stepper motors with belts in x & y.

@R006 If the belts and pulleys are not properly arranged you can see distorted prints. Does the distortion get worse when prints are near corners of the bed plate? Can you post a picture of the XY stage belt arrangement looking down on the machine?
