when placing dwc firmware in an sd card, do I need to unzip the file? and if so, which unzipped parts need to go in? also, paneldue responds "files on card 0". how to solve?
thanks

@Herve_Smith
thanks
I have no access to the dwc. but do you mean that the software can deal with the zip file, meaning that I can load the zip file into the card? -

unzip, copy paste everything into the sd card? under "firmware" or where?
I built a delta printer and had it working flawlessly for couple of years. then I lost the dwc and the communication with the paneldue. more or less abandoned it but now returned, modified the wifi to ethernet, but can't get the dwc to work.

@oolyk You need to unzip the DWC zip file into a top level directory on the sd card called www. The following page shows what your sd card should look like at the end of the operation...

@gloomyandy
looks like the right place to start. will try.

Sounds like you may need some additional assistance getting going.
Start here: https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Getting_connected/Getting_connected_to_your_Duet
When you receive the board there should already be firmware installed and a working SD card. Get connected to the board over the network and then updating the firmware is quite easy.
If for some reason you've wiped the firmware there are a few alternative methods to update it.
