connecting a BMP280
-
Hello . I want to connect a pressure and temp sensor to a duet3. I have already update to 3.5 beta
I have a thermocouple daughter board: https://www.duet3d.com/tc_k_daughterboardWill this board work for connecting the BMP280? Or I shoulkd connect the cables to the propper pins on the duet board on this connector:
Also the sensor I have is this one: https://naylampmechatronics.com/sensores-posicion-inerciales-gps/358-sensor-de-presion-bmp280.html
The diofference I see on documentation is about pins: on sensor I can see vcc, gnd,scl,sda,csb and sdo, documentation talks about connecting SDI, SDO and SCK
All help will be really preciated
Thanks in advance

@Tinchus I don’t know if BMP280 (temperature and pressure) is supported. BME280 (temperature, humidity and pressure) is. I don’t know if you can connect and configure BMP280 as BME280, just with the pressure channel missing; one for @dc42 to reply to. Try it, and report back!
For pins, I think scl=SCK (clock), sda=SDI, csb=spi.cs and sdo=SDO.

@droftarts In theory this is a BME/BMP280 module, when bought I was looking for a BME280, seller said this was the same.

@Tinchus said in connecting a BMP280:
BME and BMP are not the same; BME reports humidity as well.
The BME/BMP sensors with only 4 pins are connected via I2C, not SPI, and are currently not supported.
