resume after power failure setup

Hello. I would like to experiment with this feature. I have a 10000 uF capacitor but is not clear to me where should I connect it. My setup is like this
Docs talks about placing it i the Vin, and also about a diode and resistor, still not clear what and where to install those.
Im not an electronic guy so any instructions would be much appreciated.

@Tinchus are you running in SBC mode or standalone? I assume SBC but wanted to make sure.
Also how is your 5V supply generated on the Duet (onboard or supplied from the Pi)?

@T3P3Tony it is o SBC mode (on the grph the conection to the SBC is the 5V stepdown board feed from a 24V PSU)
5V on duet is on obard generated.
